This 2 bedroom New England inspired apartment has views over Start Bay from the front and landscaped gardens to the rear.

From the rear private terrace accessed by French windows from both bedrooms you can see the original heated out door pool and all weather tennis court.

The apartment sleeps 4, with one double, one twin that can convert to a double. All linen is provided for your stay along with sumptuously soft towels.

There are 3 beaches nearby. Hallsands beach is just 2 minutes away by foot and Lanacombe Cove and Great Mattiscombe Sand are no more than 5 minutes drive.

On arrival you will be provided with a complimentary hamper of organic bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and preserves.

For your enjoyment there are 2 flat screen TVs, an iPod docking station and wireless broadband.

The kitchen includes all you will need such as a dishwasher, washer / dryer, microwave & has black granite work surfaces.

There is a separate bathroom and one en-suite with a shower.

Prospect House was built in the 1920s by 2 sisters who once lived in the ruined fishing village that now nestles below the cliff on which Prospect House stands. In the 1890's the Plymouth dockyard was expanding and needed shingle to mix for the concrete which was dredged from South Hallsands seabed. This eroded the harbour wall and resulted in the destruction of the village following a heavy storm in 1917.

The sisters bought land above the cliff and so commenced their new life as hoteliers running the Trout Hotel which is now your place to stay on holiday once again following considerable renovation
