Directions: From Exeter on the A38 travelling south take the turn off towards Totnes A384 and Kingsbridge A381. Continue to follow signs for Kingsbridge until on approaching Kingsbridge the signs for Salcombe should then be followed. The Kingsbridge to Salcombe Rd. is the A381 and Alston Farm Camping and Caravan Site is signposted on the left hand side prior to entering the village of Malborough. Follow the road down for about 1 mile and the site will be found in its own secluded valley.

Alston is a working family farm and borders the famous Salcombe estuary with its easy access to Salcombe. Set in some of the South Hams loveliest countryside and nestled in a secluded wooded valley Alston Farm provides an ideal habitat for numerous species of birds.

Only 2 miles away is the picturesque town of Salcombe with its numerous sandy beaches and its excellent boating harbour providing some of the best diving, angling and sailing in the country. Abundant National Trust Coastal paths surround the area and the unique rugged coastline makes this a very special place

The quaint thatched village of Malborough is just one mile away where there is a post office, one pubs and a garage with well-stocked mini supermarket, off licence and bakery.

On site facilities include ample toilet blocks, hot showers, hot water at wash hand basins, dishwashing sinks, hair dryers, laundry equipment and a public phone box. Additional water taps are well positioned throughout the site. Supplies of Calor and Camping Gaz are available.

A separate dog walking area is also provided on the site along with a large play area for ball games.

For Golfers excellent 18 hole courses are available at Thurlestone, Dartmouth and Bigbury. Alston Farm is a popular site privately run by Phil Shepherd.
