Exmoor Zoo is a fabulous family day out especially for the children.
The zoo is home to over 200 exotic species from otters to monkeys, rodents to cheetahs, the zoo is a member of over 25 global breeding programmes and puts the utmost effort into ensuring the future survival of rare species.
The zoo offers dozens of activities to keep all the family entertained, from face painting to animal feeding as well as live talks by the keepers themselves.
The zoo's facilities are also aimed at young families. With fully tarmaced pathways, children's play areas and picnic tables as well as a cafeteria serving hot and cold food.
