Welcome to The Bark House, with cosy cottage style accommodation, set in the Exe Valley just six miles south of Dulverton, on the edge of Exmoor. The location is ideal for a weekend away or a short break to explore Devon, Somerset and even further afield in the West Country. Within easy reach of the Bark House you can enjoy the countryside activities of fishing, horse riding, water sports and walking plus a great range of picturesque villages, gardens and historic buildings.

ACCOMMODATION

All our first floor bedrooms look over the Exe valley and are decorated in a cottage style. Each room has an en suite shower, or private bath room, colour television, telephone and hot beverage facilities. The tariff depends on the size of the bedroom.

We are registered with the AA, South West Tourism and Enjoy England and have been assessed as 4 star.

The Woodland Suite

This is on our second floor, will have a double bedroom, lounge, small kitchenette, and shower room. There is an external door opening onto a small decked area and path behind the Bark House. The Woodland Suite will be let on a daily basis either on bed and breakfast or room only.
