The Barramore self catering apartments, Torquay are situated in a quiet tree lined road away from traffic noises, yet they are only minutes away from Torquay railway station, The Riviera Centre, beaches and bus stops to all areas. Now under new management, The Barramore has undergone a programme of refurbishment, which has improved facilities and will hopefully make your stay even more enjoyable. They have a large car park and a beautiful heated swimming pool set in a pretty secluded rear garden. New owners Ivy and David look forward to welcoming you ACCOMMODATION All Apartments are fully self- contained with their own shower and toilet facilities, fully equipped kitchens with full sized electric cookers, microwaves, fridges, electric toasters, kettles and sandwich makers. They are all attractively and tastefully presented
and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. All of our beds
(including the wall beds) have sprung interior full thickness mattresses.
Bed linen, duvets and pillows are all included in the tariff. Cots
and high chairs are available at no extra charge. Our rear garden contains a heated swimming pool with patio surround for sun bathing. There are poolside sun loungers, tables and chairs and also a small grassed area which has a gas barbeque for al fresco dining. At Barramore, Torquay self catering, all apartments are well equipped, each have colour TV, clock radio, hair dryer, shaver point, iron/ironing board, electric heaters, full size electric cooker, fridge, microwave, electric toaster, ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. All bedding is supplied - sheets, pillow cases and
duvets/covers, cots are available free of charge (no cot bedding
supplied). Electricity is by £1 slot meter. Vacuum cleaners
are available for guests' use. There are no restrictions on access
to the Apartments.
Location Torquay is the most popular and largest town in Torbay,
comprising of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Torquay's waterfront is the focus of life in the town. Here you'll find the promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina. The new Living Coasts attraction adds to the variety of the new waterfront and the illuminated bridge is a great backdrop to a relaxing evening drink. Yet within minutes of the town centre there are beautiful beaches easily accessible by foot, road or sea. There's a large variety of pavement cafes, pubs,
restaurants and nightlife, good quality shops and a host of attractions
to suit every interest. Paignton is traditionally known as a family holiday
resort because of its beaches and friendly atmosphere. Paignton's main visitor attractions are Paignton
zoo and the Dart Valley Steam Railway. The steam railway runs between
Paignton and Kingswear, where the ferry can be taken to Dartmouth,
for shopping or a trip o a pleasure boat up the Dart or back to
Paignton or Torquay. Brixham is primarily a fishing port within Torbay and has a long and rich history. In the lee of Berry Head, famous for its Napoleonic connections, its lighthouse and magnificent limestone cliffs, Brixham remains a popular resort with a rich maritime history and plenty of activities for the young and old alike. An ideal location for a holiday to suit all the family. |
