The Baytree is a delightful Victorian property over 100 years old, it is a family run Bed & Breakfast and has achieved a '4 STAR SILVER AWARD' Guest Accommodation Rating by The Quality in Tourism Council (Visit Britain). This is in recognition of the standard of quality, facilities and hospitality we offer to our Guests. Prior to this The Baytree was Highly Commended for Best Bed and Breakfast in The English Riviera Quality Awards Torquay.

The Baytree has 6 spacious en-suite bedrooms all have been tastefully refurbished to a high standard.

Depending upon the type of room (Standard or Superior) they are equipped with Freeview television, some with built in DVD player, silent running refrigerators, tea/coffee making facilities, bath towels or sheets and quality toiletries. Bed space includes double,twin & family rooms.

Breakfast is served in our well appointed dining room every morning and is included in the room tariff.

The Baytree is located in a quiet tree lined road ideally situated to access all of Torquay's attractions, we are approximately 5 minutes walk to the Seafront, Torre Abbey Gardens and the English Riviera Conference Centre. The main Town Centre shops, Restaurants and Theatre are about 15 minutes away.

We have a private off road car park for our guests use.

Hotel - Bed & Breakfast Tariff

The prices listed are for standard en-suite rooms and are per person per night (PPPN). Tariff varies for time of year and length of stay. Superior en-suite rooms are available two of which have king size beds, all superior rooms have LCD freeview TV, refrigerator, bath sheets and luxury toiletries

Superior rooms are charged at £4.00 per person per night above the Standard tariff rate. (VAT is not applicable)

Easter and late May Bank Holidays are charged at £28.00 p.p.p.n (3 nights minimum) A £5.00 per person supplement will be charged for a 1 night stay subject to availability.
A single occupancy charge for a double room of £10-£15 will apply per night depending upon the time of year.
Child Discounts Apply when children are sharing the same room as 2 adults 4 – 8 year old 60% reduction from the total of 1 adult price 9 – 13 year old 25% reduction from the total of 1 adult price We are unable to accommodate children under 4 years of age
A minimum (non refundable) deposit of 20% is required with each booking.

The tourist region of Torbay is made up of the three towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. The resort attracts visitors of all ages and interests throughout the year. Torbay boasts a diversity of atmosphere, entertainment and amenities. With a climate that belongs somewhere much further south, Torbay has 22 miles of coastline, cliffs, beaches and some of the best walks in England.

The main Torquay beach, Torre Abbey sands is just a short walk from The Baytree. Princess theatre and the popular Torquay harbour side and Torquay tourist information office are a few minutes beyond that
