THE COTTAGES
In a courtyard setting, the spacious, self-contained cottages,
beautifully converted from the original XVIIIth and XIXth Century period
farm buildings, retain many original features adding to their individual
character. There are oak beams and some wooden ceilings complimenting
the traditional cottage décor. All have fitted carpets, colour
television, video/DVD players and electric heating. The separate large
kitchens are fully equipped and include everything you would expect from
4 star accommodation. Laundry facilities are also available for guests
use.

MILL HOUSE
- sleeps 6 + cot
Mill House was originally built in the 1850's and used for processing
milk from Boswell and outlying farms into dairy produce. It is possible
to separate the cottage so that it has 1 (four poster) bedroom. Mill House
can also be linked with Cider Cottage.
Ground floor: Entrance from private enclosed garden into lobby opening
to kitchen/ dining area. Inner lobby leading to 2 bedrooms (1 twin, 1
with pair adult full sized bunk beds). Wash room with W.C. and hand basin.
First floor: Landing leading to both large sitting room and double bedroom
with four poster bed. Bathroom with W.C., bath and shower is ensuite to
bedroom, with dual access from landing.
CIDER COTTAGE
- sleeps 6/10 + cot
Was built in the 1850's when it was the original press house and contains
remnants of the cider pressing equipment. Cider Cottage can be linked
with Mill House.
Ground Floor: Entrance from private enclosed garden leads to hall, 3 bedrooms
(1 double with ensuite shower room comprising shower, hand basin and W.C.,
2 twin) Bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and W.C.
First floor: Landing leading to large sitting room, kitchen with arch
to dining room. Wash room with W.C. And hand basin.
THE GRANARY
- sleeps 5 + cot
Parts of the Granary date from the early 1700s when it was used
for storing the grain that was threshed in the 18th Century barn (built
1710) next door, reputed to be the only Bank Threshing Barn still standing
on its original stone monastic pillars. The Barn is Grade II listed.
Ground floor: Stable door leads to kitchen/dining room and thence to large
sitting room. Garden area to rear of cottage.
First floor: 2 bedrooms (1 double with ensuite bathroom comprising bath,
hand basin and W.C. 1 with three single beds and ensuite shower, hand
basin and W.C.)
SHIPPEN
COTTAGE - sleeps 4 + cot
Was built in the 1850s as a purpose built Shippen where the cows
were milked by hand.
Ground floor: Stable door to lobby, sitting room with raised dining area
and patio doors to enclosed private garden. Kitchen with eating area.
First floor: 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and bathroom with bath, shower,
hand basin and W.C.
HAYLOFT
COTTAGE - sleeps 4 + cot
Was built in the 1850s and was originally the hay loft.
Ground floor: Stable door entrance to lobby, sitting room with patio doors
to private enclosed garden. Kitchen/diner.
First floor: 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 pair adult full sized bunk beds).
Bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and W.C.
SHIRE STABLES
- sleeps 5 + cot
Was built in the 1890s and was once the stable for the farm horses.
Ground floor: Stable door to hall, wash room with W.C. And hand basin.
Large kitchen with dining area, spacious sitting room with patio doors
to enclosed private garden.
First floor: Large landing with 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, 1 walk through
single bedroom, leading to double bedroom) and bathroom with bath, shower,
hand basin and W.C.
THE LINHAY
- sleeps 6 + cot
Was built in the 1890s and was originally the Linhay an open
fronted barn for storing horse drawn carts.
Ground floor: Entrance via stable doors to hall, large sitting room with
patio doors to private enclosed terrace garden. Spacious kitchen/dining
room. Shower room with shower, hand basin and W.C.
First floor: 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin) and bathroom with bath, hand
basin and W.C.
