The Hayloft is accessed direct from the courtyard. Stairs lead up from a small lobby to a delightful
open-plan area whose fully equipped kitchen is designed to enhance the holiday ambience. There is a television, video and compact Hi-fi, and a full-size sofa bed. There are two bedrooms: the larger has a double bed and a TV/video. The smaller contains two single beds and washbasin. Both are attractive,
pleasant rooms. The bathroom has a full-size bath and a low shower, owing to the height of the eaves!

As its name suggests, the Old Dairy harks back to the days when East Bowerland was a working farm. Today, it offers the visitor charming accommodation with every comfort.

The large sitting room boasts an inglenook fireplace with wood burner to complement the full central heating.

The pretty kitchen/dining room is fully equipped, including a microwave, and leads into a small conservatory, which in turn gives onto a garden area.

There is a large bedroom with either a 5' double bed or two 2'6'' single beds; in addition, a Z bed is also available. This room also has a Combi TV/video. In the sitting room there is a comfortable sofa bed, television, video and compact Hi-fi.

The farmhouse has a double en suite bedroom, a double bedroom and two twin-bedded rooms; a separate bathroom with shower and toilet, plus another toilet/shower room. In addition, two of the rooms could take a Z-bed or cots with only a modicum of squeezing! We have also recently added a fifth en-suite bedroom on the ground floor

There is a country-style dining room leading onto a large decked/barbecue area with a flowing water-feature; alongside that is a large lawned area and courtyard, with another seating/water feature area.

The kitchen is superb, being a conservatory-style design, with a small coffee/breakfast area off it. This leads into the living room, which has a large inglenook with a log-burning fire. The entrance porch is also a seating/coffee area, with access to a paved terrace . There is an American style fridge, dispensing apparently endless ice and cold water, full equipment, including fan -assisted oven, microwave, dishwasher, laundry facilities, all linen, towels heating, hot water .... It is all designed as we would like to find it ourselves!

The farmhouse itself is reputed to be in the region of four hundred years old and is largely of cob and wattle and daub; however, it does not suffer from any lack of modern comforts and amenities!
