Autumn is just around the corner, and it's no exaggeration to say that it is an exquisite time of yearin south Devon.
All the way into November, the Devon countryside sings with colour - the moors, the woodlands,the rivers and the coast all take on the buttery glow of autumn days.
It's a time for being out and about - strolling,walking or hiking, sitting and contemplating, travelling around, and simply marvelling at our lovely scenery. After the crowds and queues of summer, Devon relaxes into a calmer place, perfect for a break away from home.

Each of the two bedrooms have personal touches to help you enjoy your stay - bathroom luxuries, bathrobes, fresh flowers and beverage trays. Both bedrooms have doors leading out onto the garden.

classic dining room has beautiful views, and the sitting room a decked
terrace shaded by wisteria. There are books, magazines, music and television
available.

BUT REMEMBER TO LEAVE ROOM FOR BREAKFAST....
We are renowned for our breakfasts - not only because of the magnificent view from the dining room, but also for the delicious fresh fruit and compotes, homemade breads and preserves, eggs from our own hens, locally made sausages and even our home-grown tomatoes in summer. I'm delighted to provide special diets or particular favourites - just let me know when you book.
WE LOVE CHILDREN AND ANIMALS TOO . . .
...but ask parents and guardians to remember this is the countryside, with things that sting and bite, trees to climb but also fall out of, and high walls to scramble around and tumble off. We have two dogs of our own, who are friendly to guests, human and canine. We just ask dog owners to remember the usual rules about clearing up after your pets and not allowing them to rampage through the flower beds in their excitement at being in such a special part of Devon.

Deposits may be requested. We are delighted when you book to stay with us, and see it as a legally binding agreement on both sides. We may ask you for a deposit which you could lose if you cancel your booking less than seven days before you are due to arrive.
