Activities
include sailing and water sports at Roadford Reservoir, walking,
riding and letter boxing on Dartmoor - including the beautiful Lydford
Gorge.
Exploring the coasts of north Devon
and Cornwall including magnificent surfing beaches and coastal walks.
Canoeing on the Tamar River. Eden Project.
Accommodation:
Guests can enjoy the beautiful circular space that the yurt provides,
the central wheel opens to the sky allowing ample light into yurts.
The walls are made of ash and cream canvas providing a very pleasing
environment.
The floors are carpeted and then laid
with vibrant rugs and sheepskins.
There
is as log burner at the side of the yurt for warmth and for cooking,
a kitchen area with all equipment provided including a gas burner,
all crockery and cutlery.
Oak
doors open to a stunning view - catch a sunrise over Dartmoor !
At night the yurt is lit by lanterns - or the moon and stars
!
Outside the yurt, there is a seating
area, a BBQ and fire pit surrounded by granites.
A separate tent houses a roll top bath
which is heated by a log burner - one guest wrote
" bathing will never be the
same " .
Our own fruit and vegetables and free-range
eggs can be purchased from the farm house.
