For lovers of sea, tranquility, and nature, Bantham Lodges offer you two beautiful places to stay. Both available to rent for holidays, honeymoons and retreats.

Situated in Devon, close to the coastal village of Bantham, and just 1 km from the beach is the large Edwardian house and within its grounds are the two wooden lodges. They are separate from each other and are peaceful and private.

The beautiful Bantham beach with its surf and sand dunes is only a short walk away. It is famous for its surf break and the beach is patrolled by lifeguards in the summer. Bantham is also an estuary of outstanding natural beauty, where the River Avon meets the sea. Jenkins Quay is an old thatched boathouse, which is an ideal place for fishing and watching the birdlife.

In Bantham Village, which is lined with thatched cottages, is the Sloop Inn - ideal for drinks and good food. The local shop offers coffee and snacks overlooking the River Avon.

There are many good walks to be taken from the lodges, especially along the cliff towards Thurleston and Hope Cove.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in both lodges.

BANTHAM LODGES

The two lodges are available throughout the year, either weekly or for short breaks. They come with bed linen, cotton sheets, feather pillows and electricity is included.

SPA LODGE sleeps 6

SpaLodge is suitable for up to 6 guests. It has 3 bedrooms, one is a double en-suite, one has 2 large bunk beds.

There is a loft space with limited head room suitable for children or teenagers which has 2 double futons. There is a separate family bathroom and W.C. Outside the studio there is a heated outdoor shower with views to the sea at Hope Cove.

This is along side the hot tub ,which is heated and sits upto 6 people. Ideal after a hard day playing on the beach , surfing, or walking the cliffpaths.

The living room, dining room and kitchen are open planned with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, windows in the ceiling allow for plenty of natural light.

There is a cooker,toaster,dishwasher,and washing machine in the kitchen area. A T.V. with DVD is available in the comfortable lounge. The outside decking leads to a beautiful wooded garden and parking area.

SUNSET LODGE Sleeps 2

The Sunset Lodge has 1 bedroom, living area and is suitable for 2 persons. Set in woodland it over looks Burgh Island and has stunning sunset views down the coast to Cornwall.

It consists of an open planned bedroom, living room and kitchen, separate shower room and W.C. A beautiful old stained glassed window stands over the bed which in turn looks out of the French windows onto the deck and sea views. A really great place for a private retreat in an inspiring location.

Spa Lodge £90 to £100 per night - discounts for couples and low season
