All the cottages have colour TVs, DVD players, sofas, coffee tables, magazines, books and games, central heating, or night storage heating with supplementary heating. The kitchens are fully fitted and have a fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave and electric built-in oven and hob. Willows also has a dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The bathrooms have a bath with shower over, washbasin, WC and heater. (unless otherwise stated in cottage discription) Towels are provided in Honeysuckle and The Owlery and can be provided for our overseas visitors on request.

Our six stone cottages nestle in the valley at the end of a private lane. They have been sympathetically renovated from farm buildings and are individually decorated and furnished.

There are thick stone walls, exposed beams and recessed windows, feature fireplaces, slate, wood or ceramic flooring, providing a homely setting all year round.

Each cottage has its own private garden and there is a nature trail with ponds and woods for guests to enjoy.

Stunning beaches, great coastal walks, historic Slapton village, and the seaside towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth are all within easy reach.

Guests can leave the car behind and take the 50-minute green lane walk to historic Slapton village, with its two excellent dog-friendly pubs, and Slapton Ley Nature Reserve where there is birdwatching and nature safaris; and just 3 miles from here the South West Coast Path takes in the stunning coastal scenery of Start Bay from Dartmouth to Start Point.

The airy open-plan sitting room features a tiled floor and a stone-built fireplace with a flame-effect electric heater.

The fully-equipped kitchen leads to the dining area which looks out onto the garden through sliding doors. Upstairs there are ancient rafters in both the double bedroom, and the twin room. There is a walled garden with a flat lawn and gravelled patio area with garden furniture.

Willows Cottage Sleeps 6 + cot,
Saturday-Saturday | ETC 4-star

Willows faces south overlooking the valley and pond with an enclosed garden. The open plan sitting room is furnished with colour TV, DVD, sofas and coffee tables. Upstairs the front double room overlooks the pond and has an en-suite toilet with basin. There is a second double bedroom with window seat, and two single rooms.

The Owlery Sleeps 2+cot,
Friday-Friday | ETC 4-star

This charming, detached cottage is situated in its own area of valley at Dittiscombe. There is a galleried bedroom with a king-size bed. The Owlery has its own adjacent parking space. This is a pet-free cottage. Due to the layout of The Owlery it is not suitable for a mobile baby.

Bath and hand towels are provided in this cottage.

Honeysuckle Sleeps 2 + cot,
Friday-Friday | ETC 4-star

Honeysuckle is a detached and single storey cottage overlooking the pond and valley. Two small steps from the living room take you to the bedroom where there is a king-size bed. The bathroom has a bath with shower over.

The lawned garden and gravelled patio area look south over the pond and valley. Bath and hand-towels are provided in this cottage.

Dovecote Sleeps 2 or 4 + cot,
Friday-Friday | ETC 4-star

Fifteen dovecotes are a feature of this pretty cottage which adjoins Buddleia. There is a separate sitting room with woodburner and back door leading to the garden. The kitchen / dining room has slate flooring.

Upstairs there is a beamed main bedroom with king-size bed, and the second bedroom has two full-size bunk beds. There is night-storage heating throughout, and supplementary heating.

Buddleia Sleeps 4 + Cot
Friday - Friday | ETC 4-star

This two-storey cottage, which is attached to Dovecote, offers views up the valley into the orchard. There is an open plan sitting room with wood burner, and the dining and fully-equipped kitchen area has slate flooring. The downstairs bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet, vanity unit and heater. There is night storage heating throughout, and supplementary heating.

Upstairs the main bedroom has a double bed, and armchair and coffee table. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a private garden immediately outside the stable-style front door.
