Edeswell Valley is set in beautiful Devon countryside, from the spectacular views across the soft rolling hills of South Devon to the natural woodland and the Harbourne River surrounded by unique farmland.
There are four tasteful cottages, converted from an old barn and from an old dairy in the same courtyard.
Brook Cottage adjoins the main farm house with stunning views over the lawn, tree plantation and shared courtyard with a lovely little stream with a cute little wooden bridge crossing the stream to gain access to the tree plantation and dog walking area.

All the cottages are pet friendly. They all provide spacious light and airy accommodation and enjoy superb views of the countryside.

This guide gives you information on what the cottages have to offer and to help you decide which accommodation suits your requirements.

All the cottages are equipped with electricity, gas, cooker, fridge, extensive kitchen inventory, Hoover, toaster, microwave, colour TV and CD player.
Quilts, pillows and bed linen are supplied but bath and hand towels are not.
Heating is by electric storage and panel heaters.
The cottages have been built to extremely high standards and designed to minimise and conserve energy.

There is also a fully heated indoor swimming pool at 30 degrees, within the proximity of the cottages.

Edeswell Farm has 3 tasteful cottages, 2 converted from an old barn and the 3rd attached to the farmhouse. They provide spacious light and airy accommodation and enjoy superb views of the countryside. They have been built to an extremely high standard and designed to minimise and conserve energy.

Kingfisher is part of a mews of three cottages opposite the main farm house at Edeswell Farm.

As you enter the cottage you are greeted with a large lounge, with comfortable modern furnishings, Leather sofa and wooden pine furniture. This lounge is equipped with a Colour TV and CD player.

To the right of the Lounge there is a hallway leading to a fully fitted modern kitchen, which includes a full size cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment and all the accessories to make your stay very homely and comfortable including a microwave. Also downstairs is a shower room with basin and WC There is separate

WC just before you enter the wooden staircase.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other a double bedroom; these provide plenty of hanging wardrobes, shelving area and drawers.

The cottage has just been completely renovated to a high standard.
Electricity is included in the cost.
All bed linen is provided but please remember to bring your own bath and hand towels.

There is a patio area complete with picnic table outside the cottage and parking. There is also a fully heated indoor swimming pool at 30 degrees, within the proximity of the cottages.

Both the Swift and Swallow Cottages have been converted from a Milking Parlour from the original Edeswell Farm, they both stand in the same courtyard as the Kingfisher Cottage.

As you open the door of this beautiful character cottage you are met with a cosy open plan, Lounge area with leather sofa and chairs, TV, Dining room, fully fitted Kitchen with wooden beams, wooden floor and patio doors to small balcony.
All tastefully decorated and furnished to give you the Devon Cottage feeling.

Easy stairs to first floor where you will find two bedrooms, 1 Double Bedroom, 1 twin (both with sloping beamed ceilings).

There is also a fully heated indoor swimming pool at 30 degrees, within the proximity of the cottages.

The Swallow cottage is situated next to the Swift Cottage and has been converted from the Milking Parlour from the original Edeswell Farm; it also occupies the same courtyard as the Kingfisher Cottage.

This cottage has similar aspects to the swift cottage with its beautiful wooden beams and flooring.

The open plan interior allows the light to capture the wooden furniture and the cottage-like décor lends itself to the Devon atmosphere.

Again, the fixtures are similar to that of the Swift, comfortable Lounge area, combined with Dining area and Kitchen.

Upstairs has two bedroom, one with a double bed and the other two single bunk beds.

The Brook Cottage is a beautiful character cottage adjoining the main farm house with stunning views over the lawn, tree plantation and shared courtyard with a lovely little stream and a cute little wooden bridge crossing the stream to gain access to the tree plantation and dog walking area. The cottage is pet friendly.

As you enter the cottage via the stable/front door you’ve opened the door to this quaint cottage, you will find a well equipped Kitchen containing an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, all crockery/cutlery and normal washing up facilities. The Kitchen has views over the lawn from the sink, and a rear door to a shared courtyard along side a stream.

A Ground floor toilet with a wash basin adds convenience to the downstairs area. The Dining area has two windows looking onto the courtyard and a third window on the opposite side looking over the lawn. This is furnished with a dining table with four chairs and a Welsh style dresser.
Lounge area with three piece suite, solid fuel burner, TV, double bed in alcove under stairs and a window looking out onto the courtyard.

Upstairs is two single beds with large closet space, two windows with one over looking the courtyard and the other over looking the tree plantation. Through an archway into the bathroom there is a toilet, wash basin, bath with an electric shower. Heating is gas central heating with the added solid fuel burner in the lounge.
There is also a fully heated indoor swimming pool at 30 degrees, within the proximity of the cottages.
