Lanscombe House is tucked awayin this famous conserved village nestling within the surrounding Cockington Country Park, making it a 'world apart' from the hustle and bustle of the English Riviera.

We are a small and friendly, family run luxury B&B hotel offering a relaxed country house ambience in a wonderful location. The thatched village is inside Cockington Country Park with it's crafts centre, horse drawn carriage rides and wonderful walks and gardens.

We are only half a mile level walk to the sea and a mile or so from Torquay and Paignton centres.
Lanscombe House is the former Dower House to the Cockington Court Estate and is now the only hotel in the famous preserved thatched village of Cockington. Our Listed property has now been fully refurbished with eight tastefully decorated ensuite bedrooms with beverage trays and colour t.v. We also have romantic four-poster bedrooms for those special breaks. Naturally all our rooms have lovely views, either overlooking our grounds, the park or the village.

We have our own parking, cosy bar, lounge with seasonal log fires and spacious sunny breakfast room. The Drum Inn is in the village centre.

The surrounding area offers a multitude of opportunities from the fabulous coastline, Dartmoor, the many Gardens open to the public to the various tourist attractions of South Devon. Eating out provides numerous opportunities to try the local numerous pubs and restaurants - many featuring the local caught fish.

Prices start at £35 per person per night including a cooked breakfast of your choice for two people staying two nights in a double with ensuite shower room and rise to £50 per person for our most luxurious Four-Poster room which has a separate shower and slipper bath.

All our rooms have now been refurbished with beautiful en-suites with either baths or showers, new carpets and decorations. You have a colour t.v. and a complementary beverage tray in your room and a small selection of complementary toiletries.

All prices are based on two people sharing a twin or double room with en-suite facilities, colour t.v., central heating and complimentary beverage tray for two nights and include a full cooked breakfast of your choice.
