The annex is part of a traditional style Farmhouse nestling in five acres of land (now a horticultural nursery) and is surrounded by rolling fields and beautiful views.

Accommodation

The accommodation is comfortable and spacious and has only recently been converted; it has its own entrance through a stable door and porch (for muddy wellies etc). Well equipped kitchen/diner with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, table top cooker, microwave and more. Large luxury split level shower room, with wet room style single curved screen shower, shaver socket and bed/sitting room with double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, comfortable settee, easy chair, coffee table, T.V., freeview and D.V.D. player. Bed linen and towels are included. Outside there are table and chairs for your use in the orchard. We are quite happy to have a small to medium dog here and you are welcome to bring bicycles and surfboards etc.

Location

Talaton is only 2 miles from the A30 and equidistant between Exeter and Honiton and only 9 miles from the coast at the lovely regency town of Sidmouth.

Talaton is still a real village with a true community spirit, we still have a Pub, a village Shop (run by volunteers for the past 15yrs), lovely old Church and village hall. There are various activities going on throughout the year. Talaton is surrounded by open countryside, with public footpaths and many other little villages, usually boasting a good pub and an interesting old church.

We are not far from the cathedral city of Exeter with all its shops, museums, art galleries and pavement cafés. Both Dartmoor and Exmoor are within easy reach.

The land is divided between an Orchard, a Field and the Nursery. You are welcome to wander at your leisure. We keep our own hens, so fresh eggs are available at any time.

Change over day usually Saturday.
