Welcome to Little Cotton

Little Cotton Caravan Park is a top quality family run Caravan Park for families, located only a mile and a half from Dartmouth town centre, yet still surrounded by green fields.

The park covers 7.5 acres of level and gently sloping ground, comprising of 2 open plan fields, with a centrally located toilet and shower block, a separate tent area and separate dog walking area.

Little Cotton is the ideal site for visiting the very picturesque town of Dartmouth with its winding streets, excellent family shopping and excellent pubs and restaurants.

The Park & Ride service to Dartmouth adjoins the site, so there are no problems with parking the car and there is a heated public swimming pool two minutes away.

Little Cotton has 95 caravan / motor home pitches plus additional tent pitches, all of which are level or gently sloping.

Park facilities include a superb Award Winning Shower / Toilet complex comprising spacious showers and individual vanity cubicles as well as full baby changing facilities, disabled facilities, a dishwashing area with specially deep sinks, launderette style washing machines, large tumble driers and an ironing board.

Out and About in the Area

The historic riverside port of Dartmouth is truly an idyllic place to spend a holiday. Dominating the hillside is the world famous Royal Naval College that is now open on certain days throughout the year.

The historic riverside promenade and beautifully kept gardens provides a fascinating place to stroll and two ferries can take you across the river to famous places such as Agatha Christie's House at Greenaway, now owned by the National Trust.

Riverboats offer upstream cruises to the Elizabethan town of Totnes and out to sea to see Dartmouth Castle now owned by English Heritage.

The narrow streets of the town centre offer the visitor a fascinating choice of shops, restaurants and bars, and architecture dating back to Elizabethan England, and within 10 minutes is Woodlands the very popular Family Theme Park offering a really great day out for all the family.

The resorts of Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, and Dartmoor National Park, and the beautiful sandy Blue Flag Beach at Blackpool Sands are all within easy driving distance.
