The Byre and The Stables
Lower Collaton Farm Holiday Cottages offer three lovely self catering cottages on a traditional old Devonshire farm, nestled in the valley of the River Gara.
Set in the heart of peaceful countryside it is surrounded by rolling hills where sheep and cattle graze. It is a small working sheep farm with hens and ducks running in the courtyard.
Perfectly placed in the heart of the South Hams, Lower Collaton is just six miles from the coast, and under twenty minutes from Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge, as long as you're not stuck behind a tractor!
The Cottages
The Stables sleeps 4
At the opposite side of the courtyard from the Farmhouse are the old stables, converted into a comfortable two bedded self catering cottage sleeping four people. To take advantage of the view of the fields and valley, it is an 'upside down' house with living area upstairs.
The Old Granary sleeps 2
Tucked in the corner of the grassy courtyard, this perfectly delightful cosy self catering cottage is a treat for two (but only two!), the perfect cottage for a holiday in Devon. It is an ideal bolt hole for an escape from the pressures of the city, an excellent base for bird watchers and walkers, or indeed a cosy love nest for the romantically inclined!
The Byre sleeps

The Byre is a large, comfortable and spacious self catering cottage, with three en-suite double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large living room with exposed stonework, scissor beams. Like the Stables and Old Granary, this is an 'upside down' house with the living area on the first floor to take advantage of the beautiful south facing Devon views.
Location
Lower Collaton Self Catering Cottages are between Blackawton and Halwell in the heart of the South Hams. The historic town of Dartmouth, coastal walks and beaches are all six miles away. Six miles to the north is the old town of Totnes on the River Dart, with Dartmoor just beyond.
