8 Luxury Cottages in the Countryside with magnificent hilltop views. All cottages have recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard with subtle colours running throughout. Although very similar in style each cottage takes on its own persona offering luxury 4 STAR accommodation at its very best, with very well equipped kitchens, wireless LAN for complimentary internet access, comfortable and lovely interiors with those well thought out touches that make all the difference. Literally home from home! Sleeping 2 to 12 people - four of which are apartment styled in the old Farmhouse with two foot stone walls , the others are in the Cottage Terrace pictured above. The cottages are part of Newbarn Farm which consists of 42 acres of private land, lakes and woodland set in a beautiful valley close to Paignton. The farm is abundant with wildlife, ewes with their lambs graze the pastures from early spring through to summer and pigs forage for food amongst the free range chickens. Idyllic! Although set in a beautiful rural location, a heavenly oasis of 42 acres of woodland and pasture, reached by a half mile private track, local amenities are only 2 miles away and a 15th Century Old Devon Longhouse serving good pub food is just 0.5 miles away - a few minutes walk away from the members only leisure centre featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, learner pool, sauna, steam room and gym. All of our guests become members of this facility and have free unlimited access throughout their stay. We offer you the chance to taste some of the delicious local Devon produce on your arrival, by pre-selecting a personalised hamper. Our 'Taste of Devon' scheme gives you the opportunity to sample some of the regions favourite foods and beverages. Our garden field has three brick built BBQs and ample seating for alfresco dining, the children can occupy themselves on the two outdoor play areas with trampoline, many ball sports, swings, slides andeven kite flying!
