We are located just 3 miles from Lyme Regis, Dorset, (in the countryside), famous for its Cobb Harbour and the literary connections with Jane Austen, Beatrix Potter and local author John Fowles.

For walkers, the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the magnificent sea and countryside views, fossils and wildlife of the Dorset coast. Golden Cap, is the highest point on the south west coast, is just a few miles away.

There are eleven bright and comfortable bedrooms, each with en suite or private bath and/or shower rooms.

Every room has television and radio, a selection of refreshments and a range of thoughtful extras to add to your comfort.

There is one twin room on the ground floor.

We pride ourselves on our food, prepared with top quality ingredients and fresh local produce when possible. A hearty breakfast will set you up for the day and the table d'hôte menu changes daily.
Vegetarian options are always available and we are happy to cater for special diets on request.
The south facing sitting rooms are spacious, light and airy. Next to the dining room there is a small bar and we offer an interesting selection of wines.

A secluded sunny garden surrounds The Orchard Country Hotel. The garden has apple and pear trees of course, and places to sit out on warm lazy days.

Children are charged 75% of the adult rate.
Deposits
£30 non-refundable deposit per person is required within 7 days.
Cancellations
Bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival, or non-arrival, will be charged at the full rate if the room remains unsold. Accordingly, guests are strongly advised to insure against cancellation. Payments
Payment may be made by cash, cheque supported by a valid cheque guarantee card. All Debit and Credit cards except American Express.
Arrival and Departure
On the day of arrival, guests are asked to arrive after 3pm. Please let us know if you expect to arrive after 6pm. Checking out time is 10.30am on the day of departure.
Meal Times
Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 9.30am and dinner at 7pm. Arrangements can be made for an earlier breakfast. Please let us know if you have any special dietary arrangements e.g. vegetarian, gluten free.
