Centrally located in Exeter, Raffles offers excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. This Victorian Town House is furnished with antiques and sympathetically restored and offers a high standard of comfort and service.

The owners Richard and Sue Hyde also deal in Antiques, although their showroom is in Cullompton there are some items that can be purchased direct from Raffles.

The centrally heated and comfortable bedrooms all have ensuite facilities, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and colour TV and radio. Single, double, twin and family rooms are available.

A full range of breakfast menus are served in the dining room and the menus feature much organic produce.

Vegetarian options are available.

Additional guest facilities include the use of a large comfortable and well-furnished lounge and use of the well-stocked garden.Private guest car parking is also available.

Out and About in the Area

Exeter is the Roman capital city of Devon and allows access to unspoiled coastal regions such as Sidmouth, Exmouth, Beer and Seaton. Exeter is an ideal base for long and short breaks and Raffles is within easy walking distance of the University, City Centre and Westcountry Studies Office.

The National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor are within easy reach, as are some beautiful National Trust Houses and Gardens.

There are a selection of high quality golf courses in the area, notably Woodbury Golf and Country Club, a challenge to any golfer, which is owned by Nigel Mansell.
