Our main double bedroom is £60 per night (£45 per night for single occupancy), including breakfast. Additional members of your party can be accommodated up to a maximum of five people - contact us for details. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children under 10 years old, or pets.

Raymont House is a spacious Grade II listed townhouse in the centre of the old market town of Hatherleigh, a few miles north of the A30 at Okehampton. The surrounding area is rolling countryside and is one of the most unspoilt parts of rural England.

Whether you are just stopping over or staying for a longer break, Jan and Alan invite you to stay with them at their Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Although our house is large, we limit the number of guests, so are able to offer a personal service, with a high standard of comfort and catering.

ACCOMMODATION

All rooms are well-appointed, with bed, and hanging and storage space. In addition, each has the following facilities:

The drinks tray offers cool mineral water, fresh milk, and a selection of hot drinks including real coffee, tea, herbal teas, hot chocolate, with a bonus of Jan's handmade cakes or biscuits.

We also like to welcome you with fresh flowers in your room.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we pride ourselves on providing the best food possible to start it. It is served in our dining room, between 7 and 9 a.m.

Our English breakfast consists of dry-cured bacon and sausage from a local butcher, free-range eggs, grilled tomato and mushrooms. All this is accompanied by Alan's homemade bread or toast (white or wholemeal), with marmalade, jams, and honey.

Of course, we will endeavour to meet your needs, especially if you have special dietary requirements.

LOCATION

Raymont House is in the centre of the old market town of Hatherleigh, a few miles north of the A30 at Okehampton.

Situated on the Tarka Trail and NCN route 27, and therefore popular with cyclists and walkers. It also has many nearby attractions, including Dartmoor, Exmoor and the north Devon and Cornwall coasts with their dramatic scenery and beautiful beaches.
