Rose Retreat is one of our Victorian barns which has been sympathetically converted into luxury self-catering accommodation. Although only 10 minutes from the M5, it is secluded and surrounded by glorious rural views.

ACCOMMODATION

The main accommodation is upstairs and has vaulted ceilings and exposed beams throughout. It comprises bedroom (king size four poster bed, TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, hairdryer, iron, and board), en suite bathroom (large double ended bath, separate shower cubicle, plenty of towels, and snuggly robes), fully equipped kitchen, separate dining area, and sitting room with balcony overlooking the fields.

In the sitting room there is a 36" Sony television, DVD player, digital radio/CD player, and a large selection of DVDs, CDs, games, books, and magazines. The Mac computer is in this room, as well as a Sony iPod base station which allows you to play your iPod through the sound system in the TV.

French doors lead to a large balcony overlooking far-reaching rural views, and an internal staircase leads down to the snooker room.

Downstairs is a second suite of rooms which is available if more than two people wish to come together. It is accessed through the snooker room, and comprises bedroom overlooking the garden and fishponds (king size four poster plus a 3' Single, TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, hairdryer), kitchenette ( iron, ironing board, fridge, kettle, and toaster), and bathroom (large double ended bath, separate shower cubicle, plenty of towels, and snuggly robes). A single daybed in the snooker room is available if a double room is not appropriate for the second couple, or if there is a 6th guest.

Mountain bikes are available for exploring the local lanes (but please bring protective gear), as well as sun loungers for use in our garden.

Di is a qualified complementary therapist, and offers Reiki, reflexology, Hopi, and EFT treatments on site.

A second barn conversion (Honeysuckle Hideaway) will be available from mid June 2007, offering the same luxury as Rose Retreat. It is appointed to the same high standard as Rose Retreat, but with a four poster in the bedroom, which has a high vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. It is approximately 50' from Rose Retreat, and we have gone to great pains with the design and positioning of balconies to preserve the privacy of both sets of occupants.
Tariffs for one couple are the same as Rose Retreat, and a single daybed is available for a 3rd guest at £25 per night
