Snapdown Farm is situated in an Area of Great Landscape Value, in the heart of glorious unspoilt North Devon countryside, and is approached down our private tree lined half mile lane.

It is very safe for children - with space for them to run and have a wonderful time, and is ideal for both country loving families and couples, with sheep, goats, cattle, horses, ponies and extensive wildlife on the land. A car is essential, as public transport is virtually non-existent in the immediate vicinity.

There are just nine holiday caravans - well spread out in a lovely peaceful country setting. Each has a hard standing alongside for a car, and each has wooden seats and a picnic table outside.

There is plenty of space for children to run and play There are barbecues for your use, and there is plenty of space well away from passing traffic for cricket and ball games.
A fenced children’s play area is in a small wood adjoining the caravans - so the children are within easy reach, yet just out of the way. Also they and you can play table tennis in one of the buildings just across the lane - if you are keen players bring your bats and balls.

Well behaved pets are welcome, and Snapdown offers a wonderful holiday for people with dogs - but we do ask that you please bring a blanket or bed for them to lie on, and also please don’t leave them alone in the caravans.

The nine holiday caravans are well spaced out on the leafy site ...

There is hard standing space alongside each holiday caravan for a car - so you can have your belongings easy to hand, and you don't have to carry heavy luggage any distance.

So that you can make the most of the sun and the lovely views, each caravan has its own set of wooden outside chairs and a picnic table. The caravans are nestled amongst the trees, so if you prefer the shade then just move the chairs to where you want them.

All of the caravans accommodate up to six people - although of course the 3 bedroom caravans have more space as they are much bigger - it was quite a squeeze getting them through the local village and down our lane!

There are three large 3 bedroom caravans ...
The three bedroom caravans are all the same, are large (36' x 12') and provide the following:

• Large lounge with gas fire, high definition TV and DVD player
• Dining area to the side of the lounge
• Spacious kitchen area with full-size gas cooker and oven, microwave, refrigerator and sink
• 1 bedroom with a double bed
• 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds (not bunks)
• Entrance lobby with storage cupboard
• Shower room with sit down shower, basin, hot and cold in all sinks and shower, flush toilet
• Double glazing throughout, with additional electrical heating panels in all bedrooms and the shower room

There are six 2 bedroom caravans ...
The 2 bedroom caravans are all the same (28' x 10') and provide the following:

• Lounge with gas fire, digital TV and DVD player
• Dining area to the side of the lounge
• Kitchen area with full-size gas cooker and oven, microwave, refrigerator and sink
• 1 bedroom with a double bed
• 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (not bunks)
• A dinette which converts into a double bed or 2 single berths in lounge
• Shower room, with basin, hot and cold water in all sinks and shower, flush toilet
