Detached and standing in its own 2 acre grounds the barn is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Huccombe in the rolling South Hams hills less than a mile from many beautiful beaches and the South Devon coastal path.

It is an ideal base to explore the most Southerly part of Devon which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The house is well equipped and aims to provide a home from home for holidaymakers.

Whether you are a family, birdwatcher or walker you will find South Barn offers a fantastic base for a holiday.

The barn is spacious and modern whilst retaining its rustic charm. It is a historic agricultural building built around 1850 which has been sympathetically updated with modern conveniences. It has plenty of space and is ideal for large groups. The mixture of large reception rooms makes entertaining a large group easy whilst the additional smaller rooms allow different age groups to find their own space.

The accommodation comprises of

• Fully equipped kitchen with range cooker with 3 ovens, dishwasher, larder and large fridge, additional fridge freezer in garage
• Utility with washer drier, cloakroom cupboards and additional sink cloakroom toilet
• Dining room seating 12 with ipod speakers large barn lounge with seating for 12, wood burner,music system and ipod speakers additional tv lounge with seating for 7 wood burner, tv, dvd and video and good selection of board games
• 6 bedrooms as follows
• Bedroom 1 - master with en suite shower room and large double bed sleeps 2
• Bedroom 2 - bunk bed room sleeps 2
• Bedroom 3 - twin which can be arranged as twin beds or a king size double sleeps 2
• Bedroom 4 - king size double sleeps 2
• Bedroom 5 - guest suite comprising of a double with Bedroom 6 attached - a twin which can be arranged as twin or a king size double. These two bedrooms share an en suite with bath and shower Additional family bathroom with bath and shower on the ground (bedroom) floor

• The barn has ample parking (up to five cars) and a double garage with an additional fridge freezer.

The south facing front garden has a sheltered patio with table and chairs and barbecue. The north facing courtyard garden is also set up for barbecues and gets late evening sun. The sunny two acre field includes two ponds and is great for children's games such as hide and seek or pond dipping. The field is completely fenced off with a separate access gate from the other two gardens. It is therefore possible to close this off from younger children.
