Andy and Sue North would like to welcome you to Southcliffe - their Victorian guesthouse in the beautiful village of Lynton, North Devon.

Sitting above Lynmouth on the spectacular Exmoor coast, Lynton makes a good base from which to explore Exmoor on foot or by car, and the famous Cliff Railway joins the two villages.

Accommodation options at Southcliffe

Southcliffe offers accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, although evening meals are available. Both breakfast and evening meal menus have interesting vegetarian options.

Our aim is to make your stay at one of Lynton's prettiest guesthouses enjoyable and relaxing.

Visitors have the full use of a guest lounge to relax in during their stay.

A full traditional English breakfast and vegetarian breakfast is available as well as lighter options including freshly baked croissants and the well-loved Southcliffe Sundae.

Out and About in the Area

The whole area around Lynton offers stunning moorland and coastal scenery and a spectacular coastline with numerous sandy beaches and wonderful coastal walking. Exmoor National Park is on your doorstep and there are numerous interesting market towns and pretty villages to explore.

There is an excellent choice of attractions for all ages nearby including: The Valley of the Rocks, South West Coastal Path, The famous Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway, RHS Rosemoor Garden, Dartington Crystal, the new Atlantic Shopping village and many National Trust properties including Arlington Court and Lundy Island.

Outdoors activity opportunities include: horse riding, cycling, walking, golf, fishing and sailing.
