Sunnymeade is a charming small, friendly comfortable country hotel situated in an acre private garden amid the rolling hills of North Devon. Sunnymeade provides the perfect location being close to Ilfracombe, the beautiful golden sands at Woolacombe and Exmoor National Park.

There are 10 en-suite bedrooms 4 on the ground floor and suitable for disabled guests and all staff are deaf aware.

All bedrooms overlook the countryside or garden and have a colour TV, radio clock alarm, central heating, and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. Most have en-suite facilities. Twin, double, single and family accommodation is all available.

Award Winning home cooked food using fresh local produce is served in the Restaurant. Special Diets can be accommodated and there is always a vegetarian choice on the menu. Organic milk is served from a local herd and every effort is made to ensure the food is GM free.

There is a cosy licensed bar and comfortable lounge for guests to enjoy.

Polite and well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay.

The Sunnymeade is approached by direct wheelchair access to the automatic front door, from the large car park where 3 spaces are reserved for disabled drivers. The car park is of sufficient size to enable specially adapted vehicles to park, turn and off load wheelchair bound passengers/drivers.

On the ground floor there are no steps, slopes, ramps etc. and the bar, dinning room, and lounge are situated on one level.

Four en suite rooms (one double and three twins) are situated on the ground floor all have grab rails, toilet seat raisers and no steps or stairs, two of the ground floor twins are purpose built with wheel in showers and ample room to maneuver a wheelchair. In addition, one of our ground floor twin rooms has an 'automatic bed' which will raise the guest to a sitting position, if required.

You will be spoilt for choice on your holiday to North Devon. The whole area offers stunning moorland and coastal scenery, and a spectacular coastline with numerous sandy golden beaches and wonderful coastal walking all around Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Exmoor.

There is an excellent choice of attractions for all ages including:

The Big Sheep, Tarka Cycle Trail, Milky Way and Brocklands Adventure Parks, Rosemoor Garden, Dartington Crystal, the new Atlantic Shopping village, and many National Trust properties such as Arlington Court and Lundy Island.
