The Barn @ Southcombe Farm has been converted into an amazing 2 bedroom 5 Star Luxury Holiday Cottage. It is really comfortable and has lovely country views.

The barn sleeps 4 with plenty of space and comfort. Perfect for small families, friends or couples.

The upper floor is open plan with a great country kitchen and dining area leading to a large lounge with two comfortable leather sofas, stereo, TV, DVD, log burner and of course fantastic views out over the surrounding countryside.

Downstairs are the cosy, but spacious bedrooms with views out into the stable yard. The bathroom is lovely too, fully tiled, piping hot water and spotlessly clean, so a long bath is a pleasure!

Although the barn is bright and airy, it is also warm complete with efficient under floor heating. Whenever you visit, whatever the weather, you will be very comfortable. In fact many of our guests have already returned!

ACCOMMODATION

The upstairs living area is as comfortable as it gets with two large three seater sofas for you to relax on. The French windows face west with views over the fields with Holsworthy in the distance. Perfect for watching the sunset. There is plenty to do in the barn - Watch TV or your favourite DVD. Listen to the stereo. Play games. Have a read or just watch the flames inside the log burner. With free WIFI you can even check your e-mail's!

The view from the lounge is great and you can usually see our thoroughbred horses grazing out of your window. If you enjoy bird watching this also the place for you - just look out the window and they are all there, from Buzzards to Sparrows, from Barn Owls to Swallows.

The kitchen diner is also in the country lodge style. Fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and anything else you would expect from a 5 Star self catering property. At the front of the barn there is an area of lawn with picnic bench and BBQ. In addition you are free to explore the 60 acre farm using the private and secluded nature trail.

All the bedrooms feature oak beams and character wooden doors. All the furniture is antique or reproduction to maintain the country feel. All bed linen, towels and face clothes are provided. Views from the bedrooms are on to the lawns and stable yard.

The bathroom and toilet is tiled floor to ceiling and looks great. Hot water is available at all times and the shower has a good strong jet.
