The Barton is situated in the delightful doomsday village of Belstone, which lies in the northern tip of the Dartmoor National Park.

Belstone is ideally located to enjoy breathtaking Dartmoor (you can walk onto the moor from the front door) and the other attractions that the West Country has to offer.

The Barton is a traditional Devon "cross passage house" and we look forward to offering you a welcoming, relaxed family atmosphere.

The house lies in the centre of the village yet has secluded feel.

Dating back to around 1670 the property has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard.

It also has a significant ley line passing through the garden – of great interest to ley line enthusiasts!

On arrival you will be treated to a traditional home baked Devon cream tea, which can be enjoyed in the lovely cottage garden or in our cosy dining room.
