Goodrington truly family friendly beach and leisure area, set away from the main roads, with ample parking and level access. Goodrington Sands has a blue flag award. The beach is ideal for families of all ages.

As you approach the beach from the car park, you pass by several shops and café's providing everything you need for a day on the beach. Adjacent to the shops there is the Quaywest Waterpark with waterslides for all ages. There is also Young's Park which is only a stone's throw away from the beach itself.

Inn on the Quay
The Inn on the Quay is centrally located on Goodringtons' North and South Sands, with stunning views across the bay towards Brixham and Berry Head. This is a family friendly pub, part of the Brewer´s Fayre chain. The pub has plenty of outside seating from which you can sit and admire the views or watch the people on the beach.
Sea Shore Centre
Located very close to the beach it features: a Rockpool Zone with seawater tanks displaying marine wildlife
Go Karts
Experience the fun of racing at our Goodrington track: - 2 seater racer - Family Karts, for smaller children (accompanied by adults) - Grand Prix Karts for the racing novice - "Bullit" for the fast and furious race.
Young's Park - Goodrington Park
This is a picturesque open area located between the Dartmouth and Paignton steam railway line and the beach. The central pond area is a natural habitat for swans, geese and wild birds. Goodrington Park is an ideal family picnic area - safe for all the families with children. Being part of the famous Youngs Park and literally a stone´s throw from Goodrington Beach and Quaywest Waterpark.

Goodrington Park offers truly all family fun with Bumper Boats, Pedalos, Cafe, Ice Cream, Drop Slides, Crazy Golf, Junior Quads, Large Boating Lake and beautiful walks.

Quaywest Waterpark

Just behind Goodrington's long sandy beach you'll find the exciting and entertaining world of Quaywest.

Quaywest not only offers fast and exilerating water slides but they cater too, for those who wish to relax and enjoy a gentle river ride. All ages are welcome and you are guarenteed to find a ride suitable for you. If you don't fancy a ride, a paddle in the pool will suit you fine.

At its heart is shipwreck island where half a mile of water slides twist, turn and splash in this open air water park.

Access to Quaywest is excellent. The complex boasts its own railway station served by steam trains on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, as well as hundreds of car park spaces. Quaywest is also handy for visitors staying at many of the holiday parks in the Goodrington area.
