Wisteria Cottage is situated in the tiny hamlet of Scoriton on the Southern edge of Dartmoor, midway between the cities of Exeter and Plymouth. This is a wonderful rural location for lovers of the great outdoors and walking and for those seeking a place to escape from it all!

The accommodation is in part of the owner's traditional detached stone cottage and has been made into a very light and airy "upside down" apartment.

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, shower room and spacious bedroom with 6 ft super king-size bed. Upstairs is the sitting room/kitchen with two comfy sofas, TV video and hi fi. The hand made pine fitted kitchen/dining area is well equipped with a dishwasher and electric oven and hob. There is central heating throughout.

Pine floors and exposed rafters add to the character and charm of this self-catering holiday accommodation.

One well-behaved dog may be welcome by prior arrangement.

Out and About in the Area

Dartmoor provides the perfect holiday location for lovers of the great outdoors - all year round. Designated a National Park in 1951 Dartmoor has a very special and unique 'wild' landscape, wildlife and history. There are over 400 miles of footpaths, and open moorland for visitors to enjoy and the Devon coast is just half an hour away.

There are excellent opportunities for horse riding, walking, fishing, cycling, climbing and golf. The Two Moors Way long distance footpath passes the house and a 'green lane' from Scoriton leads up onto open Moorland.
