It is a small, family-run park which is open all year. We welcome touring caravans, motor homes and tents, and also offer holiday cottages and rent-a-tent eurotents.

This forgotten valley off the beaten tourist track is perfect either if you simply want to relax, or if you prefer to try some of the numerous outdoor activities available in the area.

An excellent location to discover the peace and scenic beauty of the Exmoor National Park with its unspoilt moorland and spectacular coast.

Touring and Camping

Situated in a sheltered valley, our touring and camping site is ideal for a peaceful break in some of Britain's most beautiful countryside.

We have 65 pitches of which 60 have electric hook-ups (fused at 10 amps), 30 of which are hardstanding, suitable for caravans and motorhomes. We also have an area at the bottom of the park, dedicated to camping.

Self-Catering Holiday Cottages

Two self catering cottages 'Badger' and 'Kingfisher' are located in a carefully converted stable block behind the on-site country inn, the Blackcock Inn. They have their own enclosed courtyard and look out over the garden of the inn. Both cottages are centrally heated, and linen is provided.

Badger cottage sleeps up to six people. The accommodation comprises an entrance hall leading to the ground floor bedroom with a double bed and single bunk above. The stairs lead up to the living/dining/kitchen area. The living area has a TV and sofa bed. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and toaster. Leading from the living area is a double bedroom and a bathroom comprising toilet, sink and shower over bath.

Kingfisher cottage sleeps up to four people. The accommodation comprises a ground floor living/dining/kitchen area. The living area has a TV and sofa bed. The kitchen area has an electric cooker, microwave and toaster. Upstairs leads to a double bedroom and a bathroom comprising toilet, sink and electric shower. The cottages can be booked throughout the year and are ideal for either holidays or short breaks. You can enjoy all the facilities associated with the holiday park including the indoor heated swimming pool (open May to September) and games room.

Well behaved dogs (max. 2 per cottage) are welcome, at an extra charge of £15 per dog per week. Stabling is also available for hire with the cottages if you would like to bring your horse and explore Exmoor on horseback.

Rent-a-Tent (Eurotents)

Ever been camping in France, or heard from anyone who has? Fancy the idea of renting a tent with beds, electric lights, cooker and a fridge, already assembled when you arrive?

Well now you can! Enjoy all the fun of camping, hassle free. All you need is sleeping bags. Our Eurotents sleep up to 6 people, and can be booked from 1st May until 30th September.

Eurotents are rented weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter breaks are available on request. Please contact us for details. Sorry, no dogs allowed in Eurotents.
