BED & BREAKFAST
Kingsbridge - South Devon
Enjoy the peaceful Devon countryside
in the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional farmhouse. Here you will
find a warm South Hams welcome and plenty of villages, beaches and
walks to explore.
Nestled deep in the Devon countryside
Youngcombe is the original early Victorian farmhouse for the surrounding
farm. It retains the timeless quality of age-old traditions enhanced
by the stables and courtyard next to the house.
Although it is only a mile from the
main Kingsbridge to Salcombe road it is approached by a private
country lane and is a quiet, charming and very rural retreat.
Michael and Sally Webb are pleased to
welcome you to their own unique version of the traditional bed and
breakfast.
ACCOMMODATION
Youngcombe Farm offers a delightful country retreat
and a convenient base for exploring the glorious South Devon coastline.
The farmhouse has good sized rooms which have all
been tastefully decorated and furnished. Each bedroom has its own
character and each includes a wash basin and tea/coffee tray. Bathrooms
have both bath and shower facilities.
The comfortable sitting room has an open fireplace
and if there are any idle moments left in the day, a TV and video.
The dining room where breakfast is served is a pleasant
airy room overlooking both the garden and courtyard. It is also
furnished with a piano.
Well behaved dogs and children are welcome, there
is parking for up to three cars in the courtyard.

LOCATION
Youngcombe Farm is about as far as you can get from
the madding crowd and still be conveniently placed for local activities.
Kingsbridge, with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants,
is just 2 miles away. The lovely beaches and golf course at Thurlestone
are a 3 mile drive. And the sailing centre of Salcombe with its
picturesque narrow streets and busy harbour is only 5 miles from
Youngcombe.
If you are fond of walking there are spectacular
cliff paths just a short drive away and a nearby footpath leads
you to Woolston and Salcombe.
The garden at Youngcombe is a delightful enclosed
three quarters of an acre with gently sloping lawns dotted with
trees and shrubs. Tables and chairs and a barbecue are provided,
your nearest neighbours will most likely be the cattle and sheep
in surrounding fields.
